man, this has been a rather slow week even with the new stuff that has been coming out. glad to see To Aru is out now.
question, tho: whats with the drop in frame rate at 03:31? I know that newsflash is something u can’t do much about (aside from gettin another RAW from other station), but that frame rate thing really does bug me =/
Can’t be assed to do some extra VFR/30fps/hand decimating for that. Additionally i can’t help that there was a earthquake warning. You can hope that some “fix”ed raw comes out and apply the script on it if it bothers you that much.
Im not complaining, just wondering why it was like that.
@Ceipheed: I also see jerkiness @3:31, but the framerate isn’t dropping. I’m no expert at video encoding, but my guess is that the vertical panning was animated at 30fps as opposed to 24fps (the pans in the OP were probably done at 24fps, as they play smoothly for me). Considerable jerkiness can occur if 30fps is hard inverse-telecined to 24fps. Variable frame rate would help here, but that can put a heavy load on many computers during playback.
Curious what the newsflash was about. Anyone?

Another perfect production of Ayako, but…. I’m missing something. THE THIRD EPISODE OF A Certain Scientific Railgun…. The H264 is avaible but the Xvid is missing. Maybe I’m stupid and didn’t see it anywhere. So a request, would you please upload it if it isn’t or place a link for me. If possible thanks.

The alternative is always to give in and just watch the H264 version. I had to resort to that and well…the next day I watched episodes 4 to 12 in a row.

Where’s the next episode? Or how is it going now?
I imagine the next episode is taking longer because of the new music at the beginning and end. They usually have all the lyrics in English, Kanji and Romaji with color transitions for each syllable. With all the work they do I would not be surprised if this episode is delayed some.
Or they fell asleep in the middle of work :P
