The whole episode ISN”T like this. It is just for the short scene. It suppose to be like a comic.
Also, you guys mean the last special for Kanokon, where she thought Kouta was having sex, but instead eating fish.
Nope, not the specials. There’s a new OVA (2 ep) that recently aired.
I wish they’d make it a bit more subtle who the 4th strongest member of the Simeon guards are -_-. I mean the fact that it’s a see, she’s wearing a mask, has yellow eyes and green hair pretty much give it away. Just go back and re-watch episode 1 and you’ll know who it is :\
The whole series is like a parody to all those super popular shounen titles, and this “it’s obvious who it is”-part of “secret” enemies is well… also part of the parody

The animation changes are obviously intentional, It happened in the first battle with kuchinashi too.

Actually, Aruka(Cruz’s sister) is a bad guy, as far as the manga is concern. She told Simeon about the resistance and planned the resistance’s fall.
And yes this is a parody of Shounen titles, along with Bo-Bo-Bo.
