I’d love to do that series, but i can’t find a TL for it. OP/ED are already done, .ts are available, raws too, just the translator… :-( 50 possible episodes shoos away most TLs around.
Illiterate warmongers. Subbing moe and other shit is okay, but something as good as an adaption of some of the best considered Japanese literature is not? What’s your problem, especially after the huge requests it spawned too. I see now that anime-himitsu is going to sub it, but why did you turn down so many requests?

3 i love kanokon and am waiting for the latest ova (november sometime)
however in my search for more kanokon goodness i discovered it was based off a light novel series harkening back to haruhi suzumiha i hoped to find a translated edition
and failed
however i have found a scan of the novels
volumes 1 to 8
i hear the manga gets to vol 2 and the anime to vol 1 only
unfortunatly i am no translator
(anyone conversant with the written forms of nihongo and english i would happily provide a direct send somehow
or at least give the torrent i got it from and dedicate my full upload to it instead of a twentieth

Agreed and what they wish to sub they do a kick-ass job on. I’ve watched CSR, Kissxsis, Needless and Railgun by these guys and I love their work.

I’m sad to see Ayako has decided not to sub this. Since I am an Asian Studies major, I’ve read both Natsume Soseki’s “Kokoro” and Osamu Dazai’s “No Longer Human” (2 of the novels the series will be based on) and I think they are truly amazing works of literature. This series would be a great way for those who only get a glimpse of Japanese culture through anime, to actually get to see some of their literary art through a media they’re familiar with.
Also sounds like a pain in the ass to translate AND edit. Making Japanese literature make sense in English. Real fun.

Oh come on! Anyone who actually though that Ayako would sub Blue Literature needs a full frontal lobotomy. Akayo hates boredom. They sub the most exciting shows there are, either for action or ecchi, and Blue Literature is about as exciting as watching pain dry on growing grass.
For all you whining that such a wonderful anime is not getting subbed because people are not interested: READ THE FUCKING BOOKS.

Man, I really wish I could help you guys out with Anymal Tantei Kiruminzoo, but I have so many projects on my backlog, I don’t dare start another. Really sorry, hope you can find a translator. That show is adorable.
Oh well, it doesn’t look like any similarities with Natsume Yuujinchou or Mushi-shi, but I still have to check it with subs!
