LOL yes, word for word, for the last 4 characters, up to the point it’s utterly ridiculous. It just means “Entry forbidden after this point”.
The character is reading the kanji individually, instead of as a compound. Spi didn’t include the TL note it seems.

“Sea Story” was never an official Ayako project to start with, it was subbed by some rebelious staff. The Translator, more precisly cowteats, dropped it thou, he seems to retire from subbing. There had been a replacement TL, but the guy in charge of the releases wants to do a TLC on it, and up to now no TLC was able to TLC it. Prolly you can go online and ask around in the mainchannel if you are willing to TLC.

It’s explain in the manga WAY later, like one of the latest chapters, that is, that those white leashes on the “eyes” are actually rabbit-ears (usagimimi) which were simply falling down cause it’s fucking heavy.
